"A Grateful night with Cubensis playing some really great Jerry Garcia/Grateful Dead songs to fill the air, honoring the man and his music during the 'Days Between'. It was great to see some friends, dance and groove paying respect to Jerry. Plus, for over 30 years Cubensis has been the anchor of the SCal Dead scene, so it was most appropriate to spend it with them! If you weren't there, you missed out! Thanks to the guys in QB for an awesome evening and for continuing to carry the torch! Forever Grateful, forever Dead. - Robert

"I just wanted to tell you that your show, last Saturday, at Saint Rocke, was just incredible!!!!!!!!!!! Your performance just filled my soul just as it needed to be. Only the second time I have seen you, but, I will be back for more. Thank you so much!" - Barry
-----------------------------"I strongly encourage folk to check out "Cubensis"...fine musicians, good people, and one of the best Dead tribute bands on the scene. Jerry was a good friend of mine...he would be proud of these guys." - Pete Sears (Moonalice, Jefferson Starship)------------------------------To the entire Cubensis Family, Just a friendly note to say how grateful we are for you all! My husband and I met at a Mountain Jam at Robin's Nest in June of 1999 where you also happened to be playing. It was love at first sight for us and we get to relive this life changing night whenever we get the chance to dance our hearts out in front of your stage.
June 30 was our 10th wedding anniversary and with two littles at home it was a pleasant surprise to us that you were playing AND we had a sitter. You never disappoint and the show on Friday was on fire! We had such a beautiful time connecting with each other, the music, and the good vibes that always flow freely at your shows. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate. We wanted to send our personal thanks and give back some of the love that you share. Thank you for keeping the Dead alive with your gift! Our love for you will never fade away! Best regards, Theresa and David Cronk
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I just have to say that Saturday's show at OC Tavern was extraordinarily magical! I don't know how many times i've seen QB, maybe only 20-30 or so (plus the many i've watched on youtube), but this was my favorite performance to far. I hope someone recorded it. It was my first time seeing QB there. Craig's new guitar was totally shredding and the whole band was just totally clicking and jamming out every song it seemed. The guest guitarist from the Higgs was also rad. even the Ahi salad and the Guinness were great. and the bloody mary and the monte cristo sandwich at Rose's Sugar Shack the next morning were nice too. Thank you Cubensis for an awesome evening and a real good time! ~~~~~~~
Thanks Guys! Post your review on Facebook and you just might see it on our website!
